About Jacqueline Thow
Jacqueline studied Printed Textiles at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, and is now based near Edinburgh. Having experimented with abstract photography, the last few years have seen her return to the more fundamental forms of drawing, and her current practice concentrates on portraits using pastels and charcoal. She had her first solo exhibition in 2024 at the Ormus Gallery in Aberdour, and continues to exhibit regularly in group and selected exhibitions. She is one of the founding organisers of Musselburgh Creates and Musselburgh Artists Collective.
